Bee Feed: What is Candipolline Gold?

As you’d expect from being the main UK-based Bee Feed distributors, we get asked about our products a lot.

So we’ve put together a little blog post to help you understand some of our Candipolline Gold!

Candipolline Gold is a bee feed pollen substitute, and offers complete nourishment for bees.

Candipolline Gold is made by adding sugar, milk, egg proteins and pollen and is brilliant for invigorating the growth of a healthy brood.

It can be used when there is little pollen available or as bee feed in a crisis; it can be used at any time of the year, and there is't a limit to the amount you can feed.

We have used Candipolline Gold in conjunction with Belgosuc Fondabee over the past five years with great success, particularly in Springs when the weather has been very variable.

What is our bee feed composition?

  • Beet sugar (sucrose) sugar syrup

  • pollen

  • caseinate

  • allumen

  • glycerine

  • vitamins E300

  • L asorbic acid (vitamin C) 400IU/kg

We hope that this has helped to answer some of the questions pertaining to Bee Feed.
