About Us
Since taking over Wyefield Apiaries in April 2021, it’s been all hands on deck.
UK-based bee feed deliveries, lambing and calving all united under the majesty of the mid Wales countryside.
I have been working part-time for Peter & Marian for the last four years, however I have known them for a lot longer; during my time working for Peter & Marian I have mainly been involved in the administration work, although I have had to do some packing and bottling of honey in an emergency!
Jonathan and I have been married for 18 years and have two children, Sioned 14 and Iwan 13; Jonathan farms a Hill Farm with sheep and beef cattle and he is also a contract shearer, so we’ve had plenty of experience working with animals.
My career background is in administration and event organisation which includes organising the 2010 World Shearing Championships, 2012 Royal Welsh Grassland Event and the 2016 All Wales Ploughing & Hedging Championships. I am the Secretary for Builth Ploughing & Hedging Society and Sheep Secretary at our local Agricultural Show.
I have met many of you over the years of working for Peter & Marian, either at Ty Gwyn or at events such as the National Honey Show, Beetradex, Welsh Beekeepers annual convention and I look forward to meeting you at such events in the future and speaking to you on the phone.
We are very fortunate to have Peter & Marian at the end of the phone and their advice and guidance since purchasing Wyefield Apiaries has been invaluable.
